so funny- ask your kids these questions:
i stole this from someone's blog a while back, but i thought it would be funny to do it here. ask your kids these questions as they run by and post their answers. kids are hysterical so i can't wait to see everyone's answers. these were my middle kid's answers last year when i did this, he was 5 then.
1. What is something mom always says to you? “Go to bed!" 2. What makes mom happy? "When I go to sleep." 3. What does your mom do when you're not around? "Play with other kids in my house." 4. What does your mom do for her job? "Clean and tell people what to do and what they can clean and be the boss of people when they are in trouble." (lol!) 5. How do you know your mom loves you? "Because in our brains things come out of your head what you think of and those things pop open in your bubbles and that’s where you get it and you pop it out of your head and then you have good dreams. Oh, and because you get in my brain and I know you love me." (huh?)

Funny, especially because some of the answers were not expected and "huh"? I asked all the kids at some point, so in no particular order...
1. What is something mom always says to you? "I love you", "Walk on your feet", "My name", "Turn down the volume". 2. What makes mom happy? "Chocolate", "When the house is clean", "Chocolate", "Chocolate" 3. What does your mom do when you're not around? "How am I supposed to know that??", "Go shopping for food", "Play on the Wii", "Sleep?". 4. What does your mom do for her job? "Works for a.com and helps people know it's good to adopt kids", "works for the adoption center", "I have no idea what she does but it's on the computer". 5. How do you know your mom loves you? "She cooks, cleans, does laundry, buys us stuff, gives us hugs & kisses, makes my lunch, drives me places, you do a lot of stuff. Cuz you tell me!"

“that you love me" 2. What makes mom happy? "That I love YOU" 3. What does your mom do when you're not around? How would I know mom, I am not around! 4. What does your mom do for her job? Sort pizza orders (lol I volunteer at his school doing this) 5. How do you know your mom loves you? Cause you always say that you love me. LOL I will say that the 14 year old shouting his answers from the peanut gallery were NOT quite as sweet  These came from my cuddle bug, my 8 year old and "baby" son.

Here the answers I got from DS (3 year old)
1. What is something mom always says to you? "NO" - I think that is maybe backwards..its what he says to me. 2. What makes mom happy? 1st try - "I don't know" 2nd try - "playdough" 3. What does your mom do when you're not around? 1st try - "I dont know" 2nd try - "Play Football" (football was on TV at the time I asked) 4. What does your mom do for her job? "Gets dressed" 5. How do you know your mom loves you? "Get dressed" - I guess he figured that if it worked for the last answer, why not use it again? I think I will wait another few years before expecting answers to questions like these

When I make good choices 3.What does Mom do when your not around? on the computer (busted-she always tells me to click the red x) 4.What does Mom do for her job? 1. Mommy 2. Teacher 5.How do you now that Mommy loves you?? You love me more than the whole world (has her arms stretched out as far as she can reach) Elaina will be 4 in December. She is my angel!!
