Did you receive I 71 H approval? If so, you are fine.

If your I 71 H is about to expire on 11/5, I would follow up closely to make sure the I 600A is processed and approved before the date.

I don't know how long the renewals take to process once they receive them these days, but I would definately check on this.

Call the local uscis office, ask them, then work with the local congressmans office to get it moving if you have to.

If they are still following the same protocol they did a couple years ago when they started the one free extension, you just need to have filed before the 171H expires.

That stinks about needing the copy of your old homestudy. Can't your homestudy agency get you one?

Wow-we could have saved alot of $$ if we knew this--UGH!

We expedited an HS update to get this to them so they could process before the expiration-but we did not belong to any forums then-so who knew?
