N565: 1-month turnaround from Nebraska?
My N-565 fee check (Nebraska Service Center) cleared on 9/11/09. Days later I rec'd the USCIS confirmation letter/form.
We missed a USPS delivery yesterday. It was a large envelope, certified mail, requiring signature. It was addressed to DD c/o me. I'm dying to know if this is her new COC (in which case I would be stunned by a 1-month turnaround) or whether this is notification of a problem with the application. Any thoughts? -Candice |

Yep, it was the new COC. One month...unbelievable!
Keep in mind, we already had a COC b/c DD came home on IR3 visa (we visited while she was in PGN). This was just the app for a replacement COC reflecting DD's name change (form N-565). |

That is great! Nebraska does tend to be quick, but that is FAST!

Good for you!
We originally sent our N-565 in June. I'm still trying to get my girls new COCs resent from TX. We missed the postman both times!
