Wiring Money
Does anyone have any experience wiring money to Guatemala? We need to wire money to a location in Mixco. It looks like Western Union is only in Guatemala City so I am concerned that may not be accessible. Has anyone used Money Gram? Any suggestions? THANKS!

I've sent money via Western Union to Antigua. I would check again to see if there are other Western Unions available.

I have only used Western Union and it should be available in a city close to Mixco.

I've only used Money Gram and it's worked many times. They can pick it up at any Money Gram location in the country - and there are 100's (check out their web-site). You can send it on-line for $10-$14 or at Walmart for $8.
