Service Trip March 2010
Hi,
There is a group that is planning a service trip in March to work with Mayan Families in Panajachel focusing mainly on eradicating intestinal parasites and conducting general health clinics. They will also be packing and distributing Semana Santa (Easter) food baskets for needy families. They will be collecting items to take with them and to ship ahead. It is never too early to start getting things together, so anyone who would like to donate items - it would be so appreciated. I would love to be able to travel in March with them but unfortunately I can't so I am helping with collecting the supplies needed for the service trip. I am not able to post the website link due to the fact that they do not yet have their 501(c)(3) status - it is pending and hopefully won't be much longer before they have it. But if you are interested in being a part of the trip either by going or by donating items or would just like some more information please pm me and I will send you the link. Thank you!
