Adult adoption of son
We went to court this morning and completed the adoption of our 19 yr old son. I asked if it made a difference for him and he said it definitely did. Adoption is a beautiful thing. I am so glad it was possible to do an adult adoption. It cost $20 and took about 2 weeks after filing to get the court date. Ofcourse DS was already living with us. Still unbelievable. The adoption will provide a name change and ammended birth certificate too. DS had been using our name but ofcourse could not on social security card and identification papers but will now. Anna

Dec. into PGN and stuck because of holidays  March 7 OUT of PGN and OUT again   March ? GCBCs and pink March 27-31 going to pick up my babies!  March 31 Home and forever in our arms.

Congratulations on your new adoption - oh how excited you will be when all the papers in his 'forever' name arrive. But as you say, he's already been part of your family but now it's official. Beautiful family indeed.
