Don't wash my face, you're going to make me pink!
Ok, we have been talking to Tati about different skin hair and eye color for quite some time now and she knows her skin is brown, and our is "pink" (her color choice.. althought sometimes she says daddy is blue
 ). I thought she had a reasonable understanding of everyone's "uniqueness" but sometimes I am reminded that she is a three year old and has her own understanding of things. I have had to chase her down to wash her face the last couple of days. She says "no, don't wash me you are making me pink! My skin is supposed to be brown"! I guess they do have perfectly logical reasons in their own little minds for their actions sometimes  ....

My girls have recently noticed that their toes, fingernails, and palms (in that order) are pink. They find that fascinating.

That is cute! Kate has had 2 meltdowns recently where she has gotten her feet muddy at the football field and when I start to scrub them she starts to cry and between sniffles has said both times "your going to wash my tan off!" Funny!
