for our oldest (we got the info for our youngest back a couple of months ago) and I'm so glad we sent for it.

From what I can understand, our oldest son spent the first 4 months of his life with his birthmom (this was always a question for us) and that thought brings me such comfort. I am so happy to think he had that time with his birth mom. It makes me so sad to think how hard it must have been to give him for adoption but I am so happy to think he had that time with her and she with him. Also, got a photocopied pic of her that we'd never seen and it is amazing how much he looks like her. I'm so glad he'll have those documents when he gets old enough to want them.

Anyway, if you haven't sent out G-884, it is definately worth it.
