Talking "are we there yet?!?!?!"

In the realm of "potty training land", I just wanted to share (of course this is not my triumph by any means but my daughter who just decided now is the time!) that my little DD is on day 3 of wearing big girl undies and she pooped on the potty today 4 (yes that is a 4!) times!! With regard to potty training, potty learning, or however you refer to this joyful "ride"- are we there yet?!?!?! We're so close that I really feel this warrants a parade of dancing bananas! (I had such hard time training my son several years ago that I can't believe how well she is doing!) She turned 3 on July 4th!

We went on a playdate today and I brought the small froggy potty, a trash can, clorox wipes, and oh yes - the skittles!) with us and kept htem in the car. She of course would not go in the car but jumped at the chance to go in the public restroom- (I know- yuck!!!)

Well- here come the nanners

My daughter now dances like the bananas since she saw them on the computer last week!

thanks for letting me share!

Congratulations!! We are on a LONG road to putty training! Ian turned 3 on May 8th and we have good days and bad days. I am starting to think that it's never going to happen!
Yes, your DD deserves !

Congrats!! Sounds like you're there. With DD that was it: one day she put her mind to it and was trained daytime and nighttime from them on. She has had maybe 3 accidents since then--all "waited too long and then the potty seat was on the floor and the step was by the sink and..." type ones. Hopefully your dd is the same way.

I hear you on the 3 yo poo. Yuck! DS is still in diapers and we do cloth so a poo diaper is WAY way worse than a pee diaper -- I have to spray it/shake it into the toilet and it's toxic. Thankfully he's very predictable in his movements so we just put him on the potty 10 mins after breakfast and 10 mins after dinner and he almost always goes; about 75% potty poos in the last 2 months. Personally, I don't care if he wets his diaper until he's 15 as long as I don't have to do poop!
