Hi All! Thank You! And I'm Sorry!
Hello All
It's been awhile since I have been on the forum. My Dad found out he had liver cancer just before Memorial Day, we went to Mexico soon after in hopes of a miracle and he passed away on June 8th. My heart was broken. I'm not sure why, because this forum has always been such an incredible support system for me, but I just couldn't come back. I know that sounds contrary to natural instincts, but I think I thought I somehow let everyone down or something. I miss my Dad so much and you guys were so supportive and when he left us I sort of felt like your support and love was for nothing and I didn't deserve it and so it was hard for me to come back. I could go to other forums, maybe because they didn't mean as much to me or something...I don't know, but I just couldn't come here. So...I'm here to say Hello, Thank you for all of your kind words, deeds and condolences during my Dad's illness and death and I'm sorry for not being here in the past little while to support you and your families during your case progressions, special occasions and all of those little steps we all need to celebrate. Thanks again and go hug someone you love!

So sorry about your dad. The death of a loved one is hard to deal with and we each grieve in different ways. My grandmother passed away in June also and I knew it was coming but it still doesn't make it any easier. I'm really sorry. I will say a prayer for you

I'm so very sorry for your family's loss. I've been wondering and worrying about you and your dad .
And no guilt (self or percieved) for not being on here; you grieve however you need to and if the support from the forum wasn't helpful in those first few weeks but is now, then welcome back and lots of love and prayers to you, friend.

I am sorry ... my dad was diagnosed with the same in March and we are still hoping and prayig for a chemo miracle. Hugs and prayers. I can fathom your nightmare and my heart breaks for you.
