Back from Guat
I just wanted to update everyone! I came back from Guatemala on Sat. Hopefully we are back on track and can get things moving. Pretty much we lost a year working with morons. (edit for agency discussion violation) I will let you all know when we are in PGN for real this time. I am beyond frustrated at this point, but have faith that it all can be fixed and in PGN fairly quickly! Little Hudson will be 2 next month and we just want him home as soon as possible.

I am sorry you have had such a hard time, but I am so glad you are getting back on track and I pray that you will soon have little Hudson in your arms forever.

Carri as you know I am so so sorry you are having to deal with these STUPID people.(not the words I want to use) I am so happy ASG is getting everything back on track and I am praying everyday they can get this ball rolling quickly to get Hudson home to his Mama and Dad ASAP!!!

Here is the update within the rules.....
We were lied to and never submitted to PGN in June 08. We hired a new person "L" to take over our case while I was down there. So many lies. LIES LIES LIES. I am still in shock that we wasted and entire year dealing with ***clowns. I am thankful that we found "L" and he is going to fix the mess that has been made. We should have a hearing in Mixco where the birthmom, PGN, and CNA are there. This will take care of the BMI and then they will send us to PGN to finish the process. "L" seems very well respected. We were able to go to court and talk to the judge and then we went to PGN and he set up the meeting to discuss our file. This is when he found out it had NEVER been submitted. He is taking our old notary to Mixco on Monday to give a statement tot he judge and he is going to hand over the file to "L". This is the plan. Hopefully it all goes smoothly. Thank God for "L". He actually knows what he is doing and has a plan of action to fix this mess. We are hoping the hearing in the next week so we can get IN PGN as soon as possible. "L" is very compassionate and is NOT happy about the stupid people we were working with.

I haven't been around much and I didn't realize the debacle that had occured with Hudson's case. Thank goodness you have a good representative now and things can get back on the right track. I'm so mad for what you and your little guy have had to go through. I hope it's straightened out and he will be home soon. Stay Strong!!

OH, so frustrating -- I am so sorry you have had to go through a long drawn out mess and still have not made much progress. Thank God you had the wherewithall to go down there, find the right person who could help you, and get things back on track. I hope and pray all goes smoothly from here on out.

Ugh, Carrie, so much to say I'm not sure where to start...I'm just thankful to see an update and that you are making progress. I still think of you all often and keep lil Hudson close to my heart. We'll get them all home...keep fighting!

Mommy to C&C Still praying...for 1 more 10/17/07-Found you 10/22-It's official 11/12-rec COA 12/21-entire dossier rec'd by atty 12/22-subm for PA 1/23/08-agency says case in "grave jeopardy" 2/12-rec PA 2/15-FLOP-WHY  8/6-begged agency for atty to establish case w/CNA 8/13-agency says 'not likely' b/c we didn't VISIT ...new atty=new hope 10/13-new atty talks to CNA->We qualify for regularization 10/21-Confirmed COA from agency is not a COA. Never even filed 11/5-prior atty wants to "check" on us.Tells new atty he was never pd by agency! Agrees to give our file IF we release him of all liab 1/6/09-rec the real COA! Petition to be filed with CNA tomorrow!  2/10-'old' atty won't release our file...w/out PAYING a fee! So much for release of liability  2/16-Agree to pay file ransom 4/29-File FINALLY given to new atty 5/19-CNA officially approves us to begin adoption; accepts dossier NOW MORE HOOPS
