Home 24 hrs now!
Our second little girl arrived home yesterday. She is adjusting to our large family and is always entertained. #1 baby is a little jealous at times but she's getting better. Thanks for all your words of comfort over the past two years during this process.
 FYI: There are still those getting out. At least 3 per day are going through the embassy at present. Just be sure if you go by yourself without your spouse that you take a power of attorney and their passport. Some are not being told or are not aware and then cannot bring their little one home without it. It's happened at least three times in the last couple of weeks.

Welcome home! Congratulations on having your family complete (maybe you'll have more but you know what I mean). What a joyous time this is.
Good to hear there are others being interviewed. 3 per day is better than none. I believe there were about 17 back in mid-Dec 08, when I went. I can't believe people aren't being given the details of what's necessary if you're picking up without your spouse. Critical details--thanks for sharing them. I'll also add: if the passport you used when initially traveling to meet you child expired, make sure you take the expired passport as well as the new one. In our long wait, my original passport expired (the one showing we met DD in 6/05) and the Embassy person kept harping on needing proof that we'd both met her before PGN approved. Luckily for us, we had most recently traveled 6 months before pickup/3 months before PGN finally approved us and the new passport showed that. Still, things would have been easier if I'd had the expired one b/c the Embassy lady was totally disinterested in hearing why the current passport was OK to use--until I gently pursuaded to listen.
