Talking WAY OT: Weather in Florida

Can someone please remind me of the temperatures in Orlando end of June beginning of July? I am starting to think about vacation to Disney World but it has been many years since I have been there this time of year.
Thanks

HOT..... In the 90's for sure. I remember growing up in Orlando, 92 was an average for June, July and a bit higher in August.

Hot and humid!

It is the beginning of June and the temps here in the Orlando area were in the 90's the last few days. Late June and July you can expect temps in the 90's and it is not uncommon for the temps inside the parks to reach into the 100's.

Late afternoon/early evening thunderstorms are also common this time of year. Usually they're fast moving, so they don't last very long.

It's usually best to hit the parks early, rest in the hottest part of the afternoon and then hit the parks again in the evening when it's cooler.

Good luck planning your vacation!

hot and humid

Although its hot and humid it a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater. As you move in and out of the AC it comes in handy.

We went the first week of June last year and my now 4 year old still says "Disney World TOO hot!" It was over 100 the days we hit Animal Kingdom and Epcot...she would see the sunny areas on the sidewalk, scream, point and say "I not want to walk there!!!"

We spent a LOT of time at the pool!

Yep...HOT!

Thanks for the responses. It has been a while since we have gone in late June.
It is hard to believe it is so hot in Florida right now. Here in Ohio today it is a rainy, very chilly 60 for the high!!!

Native Floridian here - we don't do parks in the summer b/c of the heat. My oldest got heat stroke as a toddler there in August. Although my kids complain we are a November-February park family! LOL!

I grew up about 20 minutes from Disney, June is usually in the high 90's, July is high 90's to 100's, very hot, very humid and almost guaranteed a thunderstorm between 2 and 4. I can remember 104 at my house once. Animal Kingdom is the worst, it seems the way it is set up there is almost no breeze. Do the pool in the afternoon or better yet, take a nap, then your kids won't get cranky if you go back to the parks later. You can bring a small cooler with water into the parks. We usually bring some fresh fruit too and that helps.

Go in Oct / Nov if you can swing it... not nearly as hot and theme parks are not crowded. You do not stand in line for hours. We have annual passes to some of the parks and this is the best time to go. Mid Jan-Feb also a slower time. It picks up the middle of Feb-March because of Spring Break.
