Look who's 2!!!!
Kate turned 2 today. I can hardly believe that she has been home almost 6 months and we actually got to celebrate with her. She had a low-key day. She took cupcakes to school for her friends and she was super excited about that. Then she came home and had rice, beans and a cupcake. What's not to love about that? LOL!
I remember the pain and heartbreak of not being able to spend her first birthday with her last year. It was horrible. I felt drained, wounded and unsure about when she would ever come home. I can't even begin to explain how elated we were to celebrate her birthday today. It was definately what dreams are made of. Please, if you are waiting for your son or daughter to come home, keep the faith. When they finally do come home you will celebrate each and every day with them and treasure all the moments you have together. I am praying each and every one of them home SOON!
