For Fun: What show does your child love that drives you bonkers?
I was going to be one of those parents who didn't let my child watch TV until he was, oh, I dunno, 21
 DH overruled me on that, and let my son start watching the Wiggles when he was around 22 months. That was fine, it was only in the morning, and I thought they were cute, and I liked the music. Then DH started introducing other shows, like the evil Thomas, and DS began to realize that Thomas was available "On Demand".Unfortunately, Thomas is a thing of the past, and boy do I miss him (not to mention all the videos we now have etc.) In trying to get John to watch something else, DH ran across my new arch nemesis Calliou.  I hate this little bald whiney twerp with every fiber of my being. I now find myself mocking all of the annoying voices on the show, which even further amuses my son - do it again mommy, do it again.....So what show is driving you absolutely insane?

Yo gabba gabba and Lazytown, no way no how I would rather scratch my eyes out than watch them lol
Not crazy about Sponge Bob or Fenius and Ferb (sp?) but I can live with them. He is mainly a movie watcher, so I am cool with that.

It's the Noggin channel only in our house for the little one. I guess my least favorite and the one I try to avoid at all costs is wow wow wubzy. Can't stand that show. I love Yo Gabba Gabba, they have the best music groups on there!

Definitely "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody". The dialogue is moronic and I am terrified that my kids will start behaving like the characters. I guess I should just be happy there's no swearing or violence...

Oh I forgot about Wow Wow Wubsy and Yes, Calliou needs some major time out!!
Word of warning with Zach and Cody, I used to let my daughter watch it until she started acting like them, smart mouth, attitude, now it is forbidden. Then again she did act like Angelica from Rugrats too, which is pretty funny now that I think about it. So maybe it's just her.

I can't stand Dora because she's so dumbed down and her voice is irritating.
River, wall, hill! River, wall, hill! River, wall, hill!! River, waLL, HILL!! Again? I'm kinda deaf, can'tcha tell by my screeching - RIVER, WALL, HILL!! River - AAAAAAAA!!!! And every single episode is THE SAME!!! Luckily we only have two Dora DVDs and we don't watch TV channels at present. My kids also have this song video that I can't stand. We have about 10 of them that I actually like (more or less) but they ask to hear the stupid one every day. I hate to pull rank on something so minor but really, I can only take so much. I actually like Thomas, by the way.

Don't know about y'all, but those silly puppets on LazyTown scare the beejeebees out of me. What a creepy looking bunch!
We're in the middle of a Blues Clues week-long marathon and I honestly want to do some harm to that blue felt puppy. Tickety is getting on my nerves, as well.

I am with you on Calliou. What is up with that kid? Does he have a genetic defect that makes him bald AND annoying?
We used to have Noggin and loved watching Jack's Big Music Show, but budget constraints now deem that a luxury.

I actually like Caillou. It's Little Einsteins which drives me crazy. It's just stupid even by cartoon standards.

The new one on Disney...Agent OSO. YUCK! And there are only about 3 episodes that they play over and over and over...
I actually miss Little Einsteins! Yo Gabba Gabba is another one that I cannot watch...thankfully my kids don't like it either. And I was not sorry when the Doodlebops seemed to disappear off our radar either!!! Our favorite is Maggie and the Ferocious Beast on Noggin. Other than needing some new episodes, even I dont mind that one.

Up until a week ago, Maddy was really into Dora. Now she has turned her attention to Strawberry Shortcake, which i actually prefer. Dora was really starting to get on my nerves!!!

Let's talk about Dora....
Where are her parents? Who allows a smart-aleck toddler to wander the planet with a monkey wearing red boots? And why haven't Diego's parents been reported to the authorities. This little boy is swinging from vines with a baby jaguar as his pet. These are wild animals we're talking about.

dh has also banned calliou...he doesn't like how he talks to his parents, and feels like then his parent cave into the whining. lol. our middle ds is trained...he know the tv can NOT go on between 1 and 1:30. lol.
