Plane activities for 5 year old twin boys

My friend and her family are going to Disney World and then on a cruise. The boys 5th birthday is this weekend and i want to get them activities for them to take in their backpacks. Any ideas for older kiddos??

Judi,
Parker always likes the travel magnadoodle and then coloring books with stickers. I also usually just buy a cool notebook with plain paper so he can write letters or draw whatever he would like. Last spring break I bought him the Crayola twistable crayons and those worked well on the plane. We always take the DVD player, too, but he also likes the other stuff I mentioned!!

Sticker books, and we always bring crayons and coloring sheets - and our kids each color a pic for the pilot and co-pilot, and they give it to them when they exit the plane. They LOVE that! (so do the pilots!!)

Leapster's if they have them. Books you can read to them. Go to the Dollar Store with them and let them pick out some things they aren't allowed to play with except on the plane. They have small Connect Four games that they may be old enough to play. Dot to Dot books, easy mazes, action figures, possibly school type workbooks in subjects they like. Silly putty, an "I Spy" book.

Also, I recommend a small blanket in case it is cool on the plane.

These are some great suggestions. My 4..5 year old loves sticker books, coloring books w/ twistable crayons (less messy and won't break), Leapster games, and I Spy books. She also loves taking little figurines on the plane like Littlest Pet Shop. Maybe they'd like action figures or Transformers for the plane. You are so thoughtful to do this, have fun finding their gifts!

Variety of small post-it notes and triangle shaped crayons that don't roll.

There is a website called mouse for less or something like that. Not sure if they still have them or not, but they used to have printable pages for each letter of the alphabet with Disney characters on them to practice writing letters. They also had them for numbers. They were very cute!
They also had educational fill in the blank type pages for children to use on a Disney trip...lots of it geared around World Showcase in Epcot.
