We Won Our Uscis Appeal For *a*!!!!! Yahoo!
Hello, forum fam. I had to share our good news with you. After 2 months and 22 days of appealing with our USCIS, we finally receive our I-171h extension and addendum for A!!!! This was our 2nd appeal, as the first one came back w/in 2 wks with a simple "no". Thankfully another PAP stepped fwd to show us how to fight the first decision. Yesterday evening we come home to find a brown envelope from the USCIS in the mailbox. I think my knees just about buckled; I was so afraid it was the rejection, plus a 'please stop asking us' letter, lol. BUT, it was the extension and addendum!! Can you hear us shouting in KY????
We went out to celebrate and when we got home I just crashed. What a weight off my shoulders; all the nights of no sleep. I just fell into the couch when we got home!! So please excuse the delay in sharing, lol. Now, on to focusing on GT!! CNA here we come!!

Mommy to C&C  Still praying...for 1 more 10/17/07-Found you 10/22-It's official 11/12-rec COA 12/21-entire dossier rec'd by atty 12/22-subm for PA 1/23/08-agency says case in "grave jeopardy" 2/12-rec PA 2/15-FLOP-WHY  8/6-begged agency for atty to establish case w/CNA 8/13-agency says 'not likely' b/c we didn't VISIT ...new atty=new hope 10/13-new atty talks to CNA->We qualify for regularization  10/21-Confirmed COA from agency is not a COA. Never even filed 11/5-prior atty wants to "check" on us.Tells new atty he was never pd by agency! Agrees to give our file IF we release him of all liab  1/6/09-rec the real COA! Petition to be filed with CNA tomorrow! 2/10-'old' atty won't release our file...w/out PAYING a fee! So much for release of liability  2/16-Agree to pay file ransom 4/29-File FINALLY given to new atty 5/19-CNA officially approves us to begin adoption; accepts dossier NOW MORE HOOPS

DF NY Adoption #1: DS born 2/18/05; home 6/23/05 Adoption #2: DD DOB: 6/8/05, referral 6/22/05 to PGN with PA: 11/28/05 Investigation begins:1/06 DD moved to hogar from 4/06 until 8/07 2/8/08: Released from Investigations 2 yrs later!!!! 2/11/08: Back in PGN 9/5/08: OUT OF PGN!!!! 12/16/08: Embassy appt 12/19/08: HOME 3.5 yrs after referral but HOME at last! Family Court Jan 17 '08 ( gotcha day #3, we are fostering since '05) Filed for PA Dec 18 '07 Received PA Feb 18 '08 PGN Feb 29 '08: Kicked out 4/8 Back in PGN 6/4 kicked out 7/22 back in 7/30 OUT! 8/20 embassy 1/12/09 DOB Feb 24 '04accepted referral March '04 while on visit trip w/ DS #1 ( same agency, we were Naive  )Started fostering Jan '05 Aug '05 found out DS #2 adoption was never started. Lawyer promised to reform, got through family court, birth mom disappeared and more lies... Lawyer fired and new one hired. Abandonment granted Jan 30 '08.  Received abandonment decree March 18 '08 Praise the Lord!Oct '09 Adoption approved by family court!  DOB Jan 2 '06 in our arms Jan 3 '06Adoption complete April '07
