Elaina's New Glasses
When Elaina was 3 months old she had eye surgery for Retinopathy of Prematurity. She was a stage 3 out of 5 stages and I knew that someday she would need glasses.
(Elaina was a preemie and weighed @ 2 - 2 1/2 pounds at birth.) (I was also a preemie and had eye surgery when I was a baby) We went to the eye doctor last week and I was told it was time for her to get glasses. The doctor had to laugh and told me she knew Elaina was my daughter because we have the same stigmatism in our left eyes. (that's my girl). Elaina picked out her own glasses and I didn't realize that when I ordered them they would be transition lenses. when she goes outside she looks like Yoko Ono. They are so cute on her. She LOVES wearing them and keeps them in her "suitcase" and asks to put them on as soon as she wakes up.

Beautiful Elaina...
My goodness...she is just so BEAUTIFUL! What a stunning face and now her stylish glasses, she is darling! She looks so grown up too, it really is amazing to see these beautiful children growing up on this amazing forum; I feel so privileged! Thank you for sharing your Princesa with us!

She looks adorable and so happy with her new glasses. You are fortunate she loves wearing them - when I was her age I was known to 'lose' them. Thrown in trees, under tires etc.

She looks adorable!!! Brooklyn now 6 got glasses this yr..but chooses to only wear them during school but should probably be wearing them more...she is not a big fan of her glasses! Beth
