our first school picture of Maya
Well, I guess it's better than no picture. This is our first ever "school" picture of Maya. They said they tried. I have only professional pictures of her crying, throwing a tantrum and such. I am starting to find it funny. When we take her picture at home she is a ham..go figure. She is now 2 years 5 months. oh, I should add that we forgot it was picture day so the outfit was just what was comfortable for a pre-school day..talk about clashing

I Love this pic!!! I wouldn't change a thing or order a new one! It's great!! I mean it, I love it!!! When my triplets were little, I had a pic at Sears and they were all holding a block with their left hand and they all had it in their mouth at the same time and the photographer said take the blocks out of your mouth girls, and I said , Oh no, leave it in there, that is what they do, everything at the same time.....LOL That pic is still on of my favorites. I love children when they are just being themselves
 When I first saw your daughters pic, I thought what a great pose, then I read your post, and thought WOW, what a great pic You couldn't have picked a better outfit for her.....it's perfect for the back drop!!!

I agree w/ JoshGuat, I love it and the outfit... the dots on her outfit make her look like she was attacked by the crayons and she is protecting her face. I think it is ADORABLE!

omg....i'd buy the WHOLE Pack. lol! i love it!
when i take my kids to get their pictures taken....the people always try to make it all perfect...maybe i'm weird...but i love shots like this the best. one of my favorite pictures of my baby is him blowing a snot bubble. lol! the lady was like, "you won't want this one." um...i bought it. lol. i like when photos capture personality and real life too. i love this picture.

Very rarely do my kids' school pictures. I always buy some because it seems to be a rite of passage...oddles of bad school pictures that get shown off in later years with the express purpose of embarassing said child.
I, too, am a fan of having pictures of who they REALLY are, great pictures or not. To me, the whole point of a picture is to capture some of a child's personality. Your daughter's pic is a perfect example! Love it!
