Finally a complete family
After 2 years and 1 month since referral we finally have our daughter home. It has been a worldwind 2 weeks. I was notified last Thursday that I could and should come get my daughter as soon as possible. I flew out on Sunday, took custody on Monday and went to the Embassy to renew her visa (which had expired in January). We flew home on Wednesday and it has been wonderful. Angela is 3 1/2 years old and it's been a blast getting to know her, she has the most loving sweet personality. She also has a rough and tumble side. I never thought this day would come, I keep pinching myself.

What wonderful news!!! Congratulations! I am so happy for you and your family. I remember when you had to come home without her last summer and how difficult it must have been for you. Thank God that you are now reunited and are a complete forever family. (My daughter came home at the same age, 3 1/2, and it's been wonderful getting to know her too.)

It's finally really, truly, OVER.

I'm so happy for you!! What a wonderful few weeks you have gone through. I often think think of the families that were in your situation....I'm so glad your situation is over and hope that the other families will be able to join you soon!!
