I need some advice. I have some clothing items to sell but the first few I placed on Ebay did not do as well as they have in the past. I have a blog and thought of getting a storefront blog to sell the clothes since that would cut down on the fees involved. Most of my blog readers though are Guat moms and their children are the same age or size as my children so I am not sure if it would really do any good.

Has anyone had experience with selling from a blog? Which format would you recommend Ebay or Blog??

Unless you have a way to drive traffic to your blog (traffic that would be potential buyers) or can find someone with an existing storefront blog that has an established base, I would guess you might not do so well because no one may find it. But if you can find a way to get the right people there it would cut down on fees. good luck

Where do you live? Around my area we have these HUGE consigment sales (called Tot Swap where I am) and cool Baby Bazaar that I have sold all of my stuff- I put really good prices and got rid of almost everything. For the last 2 sales within 3 weeks of each other I raked in over $300. So you have anything like that where you are? Or even a consigment shop? I have obtained all my clothes for Bella this way and good (and not expensive) consignment shops and have obtained great stuff for a fraction of what it would cost in the store. We've sold a carseat, baby toys, baby swing, excersaucer etc. too!

I've tried craigslist for a few of the toys and other things-sometimes I get strange people. Haven't had any experience selling on ebay. BUt, I don't shop there either.
