dpline... for you
You are the source!
Need some help. Our son came home 1/08 on IR4.. did readoption... did name change... sent in N600 form.... We just received (3/7) notification that the N600 has been approved and that we need to send in his permanent resident card and then the USICS will send his COC certified mail. Okay, On the letter they sent us, 3 times our last name was misspelled.... I do not know what to do. I called USCIS but they were having tech problems. Called my congress person and the person I have dealt with in the past is on vacation until next week... when I spoke to someone else, they told me not to worry and that most likely it is just a typo on this form and I could correct it when I get it. HUGH? I dont want to... I want it correct the first time!!! Help

I am not DPline but maybe, when you send the card send a letter, highlighted, pointing out the misspelling so they will correct it before they send the COC????
Do they want you to include the letter they sent with the green card? If so, highlight the problem on that and correct it too. Just a thought.

I totally agree. I would send the letter back with the mistake highlighted and a cover letter pointing out the error when you send the Green Card. Hopefully that will get it corrected BEFORE they send it.
