Our daughter has been home 10 months now....I remember this time last year I was watching this forum believing to see BC's coming out of Mixco as I was waiting for one. I remember praying for all those waiting for PGN approvals, FC approval, USE approval and USE apts. I remember celebrating everyone's successes and encouraging those still waiting. I only get on the forum occasionally now, and every time I do, I am sad not too see those posts. As hard as the process is, the children were coming home. I know they will again, but I sure do miss seeing the physical progression of family's being united. Here's to believing in God's manifestation of answered prayer in adoptions re-openging in Guat!

I miss the posts as well. Sometimes a whole day goes by and I have nothing new to read on the boards. Makes me sad. I hope one day soon we will see more forever families!

I too miss the posts. They at least gave me some hope. I remember the excitement and wishing Hudson would be next to come home. I NEVER imagined that we would STILL be waiting to bring him home! I too hope adoptions start again because there is such a need, but pray that those of us still waiting are reuinted ASAP!!!!!!! Keep us in your prayers!

BUT, we can't. We would love to be posting we had a BC. We would love to be posting that we were orange. We would love to say we had 2nd dna results. We would be totally extatic to be pink! BUT NO, we can't even get the approval we have long been waiting and praying for. We don't even know how or where our approval will come from, if EVER! We went into PGN just about 1 year ago. UGGGHHH!!! Now we are with the 2nd judge in the court of children and adolescence awaiting her ruling. In a perfect world, she will approve us and we can move on to the BC process and finish this adoption. But most of you know how Guat works...nothing is perfect, or EVEN CLOSE.

We really do need to keep the babies and kids in our prayers that do not have a family or anywhere to go. Pray that those in charge will see there is a huge need and allow more families to be completed through adoption.

echoing other posters....We, too, wish we were posting great news that A was on his way home, etc. Sure wish we had at least positive news...but right now, we are WAITING, and WAITING some more.
Still trying to get our file from our old atty, and still awaiting the appeal-decision from the uscis office here.

And of course, I cannot wait until GT gets all their ducks in a row for adoptions to reopen. So many children are waiting,
