Way Ot: Lost

Was anyone surprised by last night's Lost?
Guess at this point I shouldn't be but Ben gets creepier every week.
And no SAWYER??? How can we have an episode without him?

At least we got a glimpse of Sayid!
Ben is totally creepy, but I still think he's good and Witmore is bad.

Do you think Ben killed Locke to keep him from meeting Ellen and finding out the location of the island? I'm thinking Witmore conned Locke into finding the island's location.

I thought last night was awesome, finally!! I have been disappointed in the last few episode, but last night made up for it.

The time shifting thing makes me dizzy. I am just trying to figure out what "time" the characters are in. The new characters are confusing as well. Is Jack's father "Jacob?"

O.K., I'm very confused as well on Lost. I also didn't really know why Ben killed Locke. I'm sure they will eventually answer that (or not). I'm pretty sure that Jack's dad is not "Jacob" but he said his name is Christian (I think) and he said in one episode that he speaks for Jacob (the one where he was with Claire in the Cabin and told Locke to move the island). That's all I can give. I look forward to next week to see what "time" the island is in now that the new people and the old are there!

I think Ben killed Locke because he had all the information he needed when John told him they had to go see Ellen. I also suspect he knew that Locke was going to have to die in order to get everyone back to the island. No one trusted Locke and no one trusted Ben, but Ben felt he had all the information he now needed to convince everyone they needed to go back. I just don't know what's in it for Ben.

I also want to know who beat Ben up and why he and Locke ended up on a different part of the island. And where is Sun and Sayid?

As usual, they've done a great job of leaving us with more questions than answers. Thus, the reason I keep watching every week.

The time-shifting thing is getting confusing, which is why I love the "pop-up" episode from the previous week. It does help to explain some things.
For example, the "pop-up" this week hinted that Ben had gone to kill Penny, which is why he was at the marina - and possibly why he was beat up. Don't know why I didn't think of that when he was clearly at a marina.
Has anyone else seen the "Lost Untangled" videos that ABC does after the episode? They are supposed to help summarize each episode - about 5 minutes each. Available online - just search for Lost Untangled. I think they are hilarious!!! They use action figures to reenact the episode. Too funny.

I noticed this too. I hope Desmond gave him a beat down!!! Ben is evil. But then again he was so upset by the death of his daughter Alex. Or should I say Rousseau's daughter. So what gives. Sort of like Sawyer. In past episodes, just when you started to like him, he would do something evil. Like kill that poor little frog, or hide of all of the weapons so that he could be in control. But then he'd go and risk his neck to save Kate, or Hurley, or even Jack...his nemesis. And you'd think OK, he must be good underneath it all. One thing I can say...he sure is purty!
