Hi Friends,

I asked Debbie if it was okay to post this and got her permission so here goes-

Last year my forum friends were so helpful and generous when I sent school supplies back to Guatemala that I came back here again to ask for help.

I am hoping to send personal hygiene supplies and OTC medicines/first aide supplies back to Guatemala so I am looking to see if anyone would like to donate any of these supplies. I am looking for toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, bars of soap ( probably not anything liquid because I don't want to risk leaks during transit!!) , hair brushes, combs, etc (any non liquid personal hygiene supplies) as well as any OTC medicines and first aid supplies ( children's motrin, tylenol, band-aids, etc)

With times being so hard for everyone can you imagine living in Guatemala and what it's like for them now?
This is an awesome way for folks to give back without costing a fortune so I'm bumping it up!!

I agree with Vanessa- this is a very quick and inexpensive way of giving back to the people of Guatemala. Every time I go into a store I pick up a tube of toothpaste or hairbrush or tylenol. It certainly doesn't cost more than the diet soda I buy every morning or the cup of coffee that my hubby buys several times a day.

I really appreciate everyones' help with this.

What a great thing. We get Flexible Spending money from our work and if we dont use it all up by the end of the year we lose it. I always seem to have a credit in that account at the end of every year! This will help the little ones in Guatemala and not cost me anything! Thanks for doing this!!!!

Unfortunately I am not getting as good of a response as I got for the school supply request I did last year. I know the economy is worse now. I am still hopeful I will hear from people who still want to donate. Even one thing helps!!!
