Pink!!!
After three years we are finally PINK!!! Our appointment is Tuesday, February 17 -- 3 years to the day that we received our son's referral!
I am so excited and relieved yet totally overwhelmed over all we need to do!

2/5/06 HS complete and Carson is born! 2/17/06 Received referral 3/13/06 Received I-171H 6/9/06 Told nothing has been done on Guatemala side 8/3/06 DNA done! 8/15/06 DNA results 99.9990% match Sept-Dec Embassy Investigation 10/21-24/06 Trip to visit our son! 12/15/06 Pre-Approval! Thought we entered PGN week of 3/19/07 7/19/07 Found out we were never in pgn and still need out of Family Court!!! 8/2/07 Finally in PGN! 8/16/07 Kicked out of PGN 12/18/07 FINALLY resubmitted to PGN!! 1/8/08 Kicked out of PGN (need equal rights letter) 3/11/08 Resubmitted to PGN!! 6/5/08 BMI 6/24/08 Kicked out of PGN! 7/3/08 Resubmitted to PGN!! 10/9/08 OUT of PGN!!!! 12/22-29/08 Wonderful trip to spend Christmas with our little man 1/6/09 Submitted to RENAP 1/23/09 OUT of RENAP! Praise the Lord!! 1/28/09 Coban BC! 1/29/09 Passport and ORANGE! 1/30/09 DNA 2/10/09 PINK 2/17/09 Embassy Appointment!!

Wahoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so good to see PINK since they are far and few between these days! 3 years of waiting, waiting, waiting and now you'll soon be off to get your sweet boy! Congratulations to all of you!

What a long and difficult journey you have had. As another long-timer, I congratulate you whole-heartedly. The moment is almost here when your little boy will be in your arms forever. Congratulations! And take it 1 step at a time; you'll get everything done. (Of course, I was packing until the last moment!)
