i don't know...i have four boys, and my one girl has many issues that make her difficult to deal with sometimes, so i'm not sure it is fair for me to say, "i think boys are easier." but man, i think boys are easier! lol.

Oooh, fun poll!
Boys are harder to keep from roughhousing and to keep settled in quiet places. Girls -attitudes! Ugh! Boys are fun to play with outside and to do boy things with. You have to get into their mindset, and they're a blast. Girls are awesome cuddlers and shoppers, and good little mini-Mommys. For now at least!

I think girls are easier when they are younger and then boys are easier in the teenage years. Lucky me - I have a girl heading into the teenage years and a 4 year old boy who is heck on wheels to keep up with - it's the best of both worlds.
Of couse, I could just be having a hard time keeping up with my boy now because I'm older...... Nah, that's not it!! :-)

I only have girls, but every time I talk to my mom, she assures me that the reason I don't have this issue or that issue is that "they are girls!" She says, "b is for boy is for bad, g is for girl is for good." She had 3 of each.
I probably shouldn't say this, but I tend to agree with her. Well, about the "g" part anyway.

I selected other....because I think that both boys and girls are easier at different times. My girls are full of drama from the time they could talk/walk and as they get older it tapers off. They are more high-maintenance than the boys. On the other hand, the boys get into everything and as teenagers....watch out! My 14 year old son is responsible for the new gray hairs that are popping out on my head! He is full of testosterone and has my husband's 43 year old, very strong, outgoing, Italian personality in his 14 year old body! Not quite a good fit!!!
Boys and girls....gotta love them both! They make our lives soooo interesting and full of life! Never a dull moment!!!!

I have both and while we had so many struggles with DS...he's still easier! The DRAMA, the mouth, the theatrics and the DRAMA with DD...did I mention the absolute drama with girls?! Love them both, but I am so not looking forward to the tween and then teen years with DD...I see lots of drama in our future.

I have 2 boys, and love the rough-and-tumble.
I don't have any girls, BUT as a high school teacher, I prefer the boys and their marked lack of drama!!

Well I only have DD to compare to my sisters boys and she is a slice of pie in comparison. She's happy-go-lucky the majority of the time with a teeny tiny bit of sass!

Well, I only have boys and I don't really feel qualified to vote, but I've got to say that this remark listed above breaks my heart:
b is for boy is for bad, g is for girl is for good Generalities are so unfair. Guess I'm feeling a little protective of my two GOOD boys.

Seven girls and 4 boys plus a new 19 yr old boy. I am a girl mama but I do not think they are any easier. The drama is annoying but my 19 yr old boy was something different as a mid teen. It probably all depends on personality too. I was a tomboy growing up and thought I would be a boy mom. I had a friend who I thought would be a girl mom but she has a house full of boys and loves it. I love little boys though. Oh are they mama boys and I am loving it. Anna

Angelkisses said it perfectly! (Though I have meet her DD and she is a doll!) Mine are only 5 (DD), 5 1/2 (DS), and 10 (DS) but so far the boys are MUCH easier. The drama and theatrics from DD! Oh my! And she is much more rough and tumble than my boys. And she has no fear. And sometimes I think no common sense. Luckly she seems to bounce! We'll just have to see what the teen years bring! ![]()

You took the words right out of my mouth. I agree 100%, boys are easier. I have one of each and my ds is so much easier to deal with than dd. That said, I wouldn't trade either one of them for anything in the world!!!!
