I need some help from those of you with little boys. I want to buy DS a nice special occasion type outfit (blazer, tie, etc.) for his re-adoption hearing and to have for Easter pics. Where is a good place to shop online for them? I have already looked at Janie and Jack, but they don't have the jacket I like for him in his size. Does anyone know if Gymbo will be putting out a little boys Easter line soon? He wears 9-12 mo size clothes.

Dressing a girl for a special occasion is SO much easier than a boy!

Strausburg Kids has very fancy clothes for kids. Also if you can't find a jacket you like, what about a sweater vest with a button down shirt underneath? Not sure if that is something you might like. I love this look on my ds.

boys clothes are so hard! did you check kohls? i got my middle son a suit there last year that was so cute! he actually never needs a suit, so we bought it to play "business." lol. i know, i know. things a mother will do.

I know this sounds crazy, but some of our Sam's Clubs around here had really really cute boys/baby boy suits just before Christmas for about $25. I regret not buying one then and I'm looking for one.

Try at Sidney Ryan(sp?) out by the Aldi's near Rolling Acres Mall. Also at Burlington at Cuyahoga Falls across from the Saturn dealership and Lowery's on think it is Crawfish, the street behind the Key Bank on Ghent Rd. in Fairlawn.

Does it have to be online? Most of the dept. stores carry basic dress-up clothes year round. Or try calling Gymboree (your local store or the 800 number.) They should know when the Easter things will be coming in.

I like Children's place for boy dress clothes.

All department stores will have "sets" in the coming weeks for Easter. There is often a shirts, tie, jacket and pants/shorts on one hanger for this age. You can't usually get "separates" as dress items for this age. There are shirts/ties/pants - rarely little dress jackets in the under 2t sizes.

As he gets older, check re-sell-it shops for blue blazers, Ralph Lauren oxford shirts and Polo brand pants.

I second the recommendation for Children's Place. they usually have a great spring dressy line, they are reasonably priced and the quality is good.

Try bestdressedchild.com, search eBay or Google for 'Eton Suit' and you should find some great leads. ALso check Imp Originals.

JCPenney always has inexpensive dressier boys clothes. BTW - they also carry a nice line of baptismal clothes year round from baby to boy/girl size 12 or so. Great especially for those who bring home an older child.

I looooove the little boy (and girls too) clothes at Hartstrings. We are lucky enough to have an outlet very close to us where the clothes are often 60-80 percent off. Their clothes are hold up really well and are sooo cute!
