Does the 3rd reviewer in PGN kick out files very often? X-Posted

Does the 3rd reviewer kick out cases very often or is it mostly the 1st and 2nd reviewer? For those of us with our children not home yet, it's so great to hear your encouraging stories.

I don't know if things have changed much under the new system, but my understanding is that, traditionally, ko's occur with the first reviewer. If another reviewer ko's the documents, it is basically being disrespective to the work of his/her peers, the previous reviewers.

Director ko's are rare, but dreaded. I suspect that you are almost out.

We were in PGN for 9 months, and we were kicked out by the "third reviewer". Which is actually an attorney that works for Barrios and reviews files before he signs them. At the time I did an informal poll, and I have to say as the previous posters mentioned, it is very rare. We were just lucky.

Try not to worry. Back during our time in the black hole known as PGN, an "out" usually occurred about 6 - 8 weeks after you were resumitted. With the decreased caseload, hopefully it is much sooner these days. Will be looking for your out post very soon!!!
