I brought my daughter home from Guatemala in September 2008. We are participating in a research study with Worcester State College in Massachusetts. The study is examining predictors of success/difficulty in learning English in internationally adopted children.

Is your internationally adopted child between the ages of one and five years? Has your child been adopted within the last six months? If so,we are interested in studying his or her English language development. This research project is examining predictors of success/difficulty in learning English in internationally adopted children. The study involves two language evaluation sessions at Worcester State College with certified speech-language pathologists and audiologists. Some money is available for transportation and a small gift will be given to each child at the end of her/his participation.
