Unhappy OT: OK, THAT was one of the SCARIEST moments of my LIFE!!!

We were in a major car accident yesterday.

We are all fine-just very bruised & sore.

55 MPH. We t-boned a car that ran a red light.

We all slept well last night, although when I woke up, I really struggled to get back to sleep. I got up at 6:45 & have been up since then. The pain meds & muscle relaxants are keeping the pain at bay, too!

Still struggling to PROCESS it all, though. & DD 7 is REALLY struggling! She keeps saying, "I just keep thinking you might have died, Mommy!"

Details on my blog.

I hope to have pics of our van up later today, too.

Thanks for praying for us as we heal-physically & emotionally!

(BTW-we are already looking for a new van-same make & model, since it did so well & two new car seats).

We are so thankful for God's protection!

I've been in the same kind of accident, although mine was at 25 mph. I can't imagine going that fast. I'm glad you are all ok - new cars and car seats are easy to replace.

Oh no! What a horrible fright you all had. I Thank God that you are all safe, and I will pray that He helps you in your recovery. The pics of your little girl in the hospital are soooo sad, poor sweeties!

So so glad to hear you are all OK. I hope the emotional trauma of that very frightening experience heals quickly (esp for the kids).

So sorry to hear about your experience. Thankfully you just had some minor sores and bruises and nothing major. I hope you all recover quickly.
