We Have A New BC!!!!!
Got a call today telling us, DNA has been requested for our older daughter, because we have a Crisp New Birth Certificate!!!!
 DNA should be done tomorrow or Monday..... I have been having a very hard time trying to accepting that my sweet girl IS comming home... and will be comming very soon!!! It seems like we have been doing this FOREVER, and the thought of her at HOME still just doesn't seem real. I haven't even done her bedroom yet,  I have everything for it, but just couldn't bring myself to put it all together and then have to look at HER room and not know when she will sleep in it.So now OMGosh!!! I have ALOT of work to do!!!  Still don't have news about the little girls... as of yesterday they were still KO of PGN.... I can't wait to see them... soon!!!  Anyone want to take a guess at when her embassy apt. will be?? Let me know what you think!!  Ann

we found out today they're doing dna for us tomorrow too! it seems our attorney got the bc on monday, passport, then authorization and waited until TODAY to let us know. it's been great news, but i would have loved it on monday too!!!
i'm with you on fantasy timeline. . . interested to hear what others think. i'm not very good at this!!!  m.

Ann, this is FANTASTIC!!! I didn't even get to respond to you on the great news of being out of RENAP and now you have the BC in hand. I am SO HAPPY for you! Congratulations!
The guess for the visa appt is complicated by the closing of perhaps the Lab and the Embassy on 1/19 (MLK Jr's bday) and/or 1/20 (Inauguration--my office is closed and we're not the gov't or non-profit). I would say that you'll have a visa appt between Thurs, 1/27 and Tues, 2/3. Sounds like a long time from now but it will go fast and, of course, I could be WAY OFF. Hope it's by 1/26. You have a lot to do so that delay may be what you need to get her room ready and your bags packed. You'll also have to prepare the docs the Embassy needs... SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!
