OT - Good online games for kids

The kids received a new computer from Santa this year. Do you have any recommendations for online games? Educational games, etc. My boys are 6 and in first grade.

As a Math teacher (who also got a laptop for the kids for Christmas) I always support educational websites...

Your kids are a bit younger but you still could check out sites like:

My 6 year old is in kindy but she loves (and learns a lot from) the games on Noggin.com and Playhousedisney.com too.

BrainPop and Brainpopjr are pretty neat. They cover subjects such as science, writing, social studies, math, reading and health. I know several teachers who use it in the classroom.

my kids love linerider.com

You 'draw' a roller coaster and then send your character off to ride the coaster you developed. Not that educational, but lots of fun.
