These pictures were taken in Guatemala a few weeks ago.. You can see the difference in their hair.. They are 14 months apart in age..

Bryces hair is absolutely gorgeous! Oh my!!!

Ana (2 1/2) and J (14 months) have both had a haircut since these pics were taken in October. Ana had 2 haircuts since being home before this picture.

LOL, why do boy's get all the luck? I've had to cut my son's hair every 6-8 weeks since he was 10 months old. It's thick, jet black, poker straight, and coarse. It would look lovely on a little girl, and be so great at holding all those bows and combs in place.

Beautician HERE!!! I promise you this. You need to get it trimmed. Most people who's babies hair never seems to grow, never trims it. I beg, and I pead with mothers to trim their girls' hair. Finally, after a long time of pushing them they do it. Then next thing you know, you hear them telling someone. " Denise said to trim it and I didn't believe her, but finally I did it. Then my DD's hair took off and grew like crazy." Noone ever believes me until it is trimmed.

So if you haven't had it trimmed, or don't get it trimmed regularly, START. It will grow like mad. Even if you just take it while she's in the tub and hit the ends just slightly. While it's wet you can comb it staight down and see where needs to go. It gets really thin, this is what needs to come off.

Listen to me. It works!! I promise!! Just don't take any of the healthy stuff. Denise

My two year old has curly hair in the back and it reaches her mid back. Arianna's hair is straight and at 3 it's only shoulder length!

My 2 1/2 year old son has hair past his collar. It is so beautiful I refuse to cut it short. He gets soooo many compliments on it. And also a lot of "When are you going to cut his hair??!!" comments.
I always say I'm going for ponytail length!!!
I agree with Aveasmom, (hairstylist here also), trimming the thin stuff off the ends makes hair look thicker. It won't make their hair grow faster, but the ends will not be breaking off so the hair seems as though it is growing faster because the ends are staying on.

My daughters length is pretty average for her age but she has a lot of friends who have hair that is very very short. I follow your blog and some of Sophia's friends have much less hair than your daughter. BTW I think your daughters are adorable!
