7:15 Embassy means....PINK, PINK, PINK
Pink at last!
 Appointment for Dec. 16. I look forward to seeing hscott, dfny, and a couple more from our agency. Don't worry, the journey is not over, as we just land on top of the pile of Semillas families still waiting to be set free. The first families were given visas in July, so the wait continues.There is still time for a HUGE Christmas miracle for us....let's keep the faith alive. See you guys soon....

The situation with Semillas is complicated. No one seems to understand the mess of paperwork, the holds on the children, the investigations into the cases, and the continued delay in letting these children come home. The judge has agreed that if the cases are PGN approved, the Ministerio Publico (Attorney General's office) approves and completes investigation, then she will let the holds be lifted for them to leave the home. But we keep hearing the papers are there, and the signatures are still lacking.
Worse case - you never know. The court case for the children's home is sometime in March, so it could be until then. If someone steps up and realizes the children whose cases have been approved deserve to come home, then it could be settled with a few signatures. Needless to say, the parents tirelessly work to resolve this - through attorneys, through the children's home director and their attorneys, through our Senators and Congressional members, through the Embassy, JCICS, etc. We are still praying that it is sooner than later.
