Can anyone help me figure out if I have this feature on my camera. I can not find the manual andI have seen some of you talk about this here. I want to do black and white pics with an accent on the reds.

I hope I can explain this right...

On my canon camera when the camera is in manual mode, I push the function button. When I have hit function...there are "menu bars across the bottom and the left side. I scroll up the left side to get to the big M with the picture of a camera behind it. When the M is highlighted I then scroll right to an A (color accent) or S (color swap). Lastly, hit function again and you are in the correct mode.

Now, I am not skilled at using the camera in these modes. so I can't explain that...

Hopefully someone more skilled will be able to help too.

if that didn't help...can you tell us what model you have? like the 1100is....etc. above sounds prety correct....i know on mine, in order to get a color accent you have to focus in on that color and pick it.

You both helped me figure out what I could not get from the instruction manual. Now I have to perfect this and maybe I will be able to share what I have taken
