What next!!
We came home on an IR-4 visa back in March. We live in Louisiana. The only thing we have done since arriving home is get a social security card for my daughter. If anyone can tell me the steps of what to do next and in what order it would be greatly appreciated.
It seems like no one really knows the answer - and I figured at least one of my forum friends may know  Hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to readopt to establish your child as a US citizen. Once that process is complete, you will need to file USCIS form N600 to get her a COC. After you have the COC, you will need to go back to SSA and have them change her status from legal resident to citizen.
This thread doesn't have specifics on what the process is to readopt in LA, but it looks like there are several people that posted on there you could PM for information. Anyone readopt in Louisiana? Good luck!
