1993 decided to start a family 1995 discovered problems 1995-1998 fertility Drs and surgeries 1999-2003 break from it all 2003-2005 thought about adoption but trying to find a way to afford it. 2006 decided to do whatever it took to create a family. Money should not decide a family! January 2006 gathering information applying for homestudy. July 2006 homestudy completed- we are officially waiting! July 06-March 09 Several situations that didn't work out.. Our baby will find us,  until then...We are 4-everwaiting for our angel  It finally happened after over 2.5 years of waiting, our angel found us!!! ... Baby Girl Born March 10th! Home forever March 19th, 2009

Michele 2/8/06 First homestudy meeting 2/10/06 Sent I-600A 4/17 Dossier is DONE and sent to agency!!! 4/29 Receive 171H!! 7/7/06 Accepted referral of a beautiful baby girl born7/3/06  7/15 POA to Guatemala 8/7 DNA authorization 8/10 DNA Test 8/23 Told that we are in family court (date in ?) 8/31 DNA results received 9/7 Out of family court AND PA!!!!  9/29 In PGN-Finally 11/8 KO-Name affidavit needs an addition 11/15 back in PGN 1/10/07 OUT OUT OUT  1/25/07 submitted for pink 1/30 /07PINK 2/4/07-leave for Guatemala and meet the love of our lives!!!!! 2/5/07 Embassy appointment 2/7/07 Home forever with Malea!!!!!!!!

How shockingly tragic and horrific. I can't begin to imagine the nightmare that you are going through right now. This is every parents worst nightmare and I am so very very sorry that this has happened to your daughter and family. You will most definately be in our prayers. If there is ANYTHING your forum family can do for you, please just ask. We are here for you and will hold you up in prayer.

I am so sorry; Josie was staying with my attorney's sister. The parents and their two young children were also killed. I am leaving tonight for Florida but I will be calling my attorney's daughter in GC when I get back. Praying for you and your family and my attorney's family. ALso, praying for your little angel.
