I was:
31 (bio)
34 (bio)
38 (adopt and bio - Caleb came home 13 days before Mariah was born)

And I want to adopt one more - in a few years (it will take me that long to convince DH )

Gave birth to Clayton at 33.
Zack came home 7 weeks after Clayton was born at 33 (he was born when I was 31).

(Although sometimes motherhood isn't so simple as the age you were when your child was born. I had a still born boy at 30, and 4 other miscarriages.)

I was 38 when Mia was born and 39 when Mia came home. I am praying for another one when Guatemala reopens.....I hope I will not be too old by then!!!

When DS came home 2 years ago, I was 42. I am now 44 years young!!

I was 20 when I had a miscarriage.
I was 25 with my domestic adoption for my son and 26 with my domestic adoption for my daughter. I was 50 when we started the international adoption process and 52 when my adopted daughter came home from Guatemala. I feel totally BLESSED with all my children. I was first time grandma at 48. I love them ALL!!!!!

1st child (bio).-I turned 30 on June 27, 2001 and Gannon was born on June 28. It certainly took the sting out of turning 30.

2nd child- I was 33 when Max was born and 34 when he came home.

3rd child-I was 34 when Andie was born and 35 when she came home.

I'm the oldest so far, but I must say, I've never felt younger or better. I've had so much fun with DD, the last 9 months have flown by.
So buck up, all you youngsters under 50; where there's life, there's hope!!

I am one of the older ones....I was 48 when I brought my DD (first and only one as a single mom).

I am now 49 & as I say when she touches me too rough, "Be gentle with your mama, she is old & she will break!"

I will be 65 when DD graduates from high school.....I am tired but loving it!!

I was 37 when DD born and 40 when DS was born. My mom had me when she was 19 yrs old. I will be 55 when my DD graduates high school and 58 when my DS graduates. Wow.

I was 25 when our oldest dd was born, and 43 when our youngest ds came home from Guatemala. The other day our neighbor was giving us a hard time about not having our Christmas lights up yet (last year we didn't get them up at all!) I said we should tell him that when we're 70 with no children at home (like he is) we'll have time for that. Then dh said, "Yes, and we'll BE 70 before we don't have any children at home!"

All part of God's plan, I'd say!
