i'm turning 40 next month

wish i was all raa raa with the other *ahem* older moms but i'm plum worn out chasing a 2 year old around!
and i am in great shape if i do say so myself

of course it all happens as it should, and i focused on school and career first, but man am i jealous of y'all who did the kid thing earlier...sheesh!

I had my son at 26 after having finished college and lawschool. Although I worked for a little while, I didn't really get a chance build up a career before he was born (and I'm staying home for now)...so I guess the career will have to wait a bit!!

My bio sons were born when I was nearly 37, 40 and 42 and I am now 45 (when Sayda's adoption was finalized) and you can stick a fork in me because I am DONE!

i was 27 when my kids moved in...so i guess that is really when i became a mom....but since they were 8 and 9, people *think* i became a mom at 18.

Funny! I have the exact same thing only 2 years younger. I was 25 when I became J's mom. But since he was 9 at the time, it looks like I had him at 16.

I was 37 when John was born and 38 when he came home. I didn't think I would be that age having my first but if it had been any earlier or later then I wouldn't be John's Mommy. And that is the greatest thing in the world to me!
