Hey everyone, my dad is in surgery right now having his left leg operated on. They are having to build a vein for him from his groin to his foot. He is diabetic and has had so many problems, well he has other medical issues other than the diabetes so it is very risky, but very necessary. I would love to have all of the goodness you can manage sent to him in prayers or if that's not your thing, just a good thought? I have seen how this has worked and just love that I can come here and even ask. Thanks so much.

I am all to familier with that surgery as my grandmother had it done recently on both legs.

May his surgery be quick and successful and his recovery quick!

Thanks everyone, just wanted to post a quick update. My Poppi is already sitting up and eating!!! The surgery went better than the DR expected and they were able to just put in the stent and not have to rebuild the vein. So he should be heading home tomorrow. Thanks so very much, I know that it helped.

Oh! I just wanted to post a huge YEA for you! I hope your Dad did indeed get to go home and everything is okay! Diabetes is such a devastating disease! I'm diabetic too and have been for years and my problems are starting to pop up here and there too. I feel for your Dad. I'm lifting him up for full recovery and many years of health!
