HI ALL~ I am wondering what you are all taking to wear for December pick up trips. We are cautiously optimistic we will be traveling during the week of Dec 15th. I'm planning on docker type pants but what about shoes?? Sandals or close toed shoes? Any capris will it be warm enough?? Thanks! Renee

I was in Guatemala in December 2006- layer shirts/sweaters for the hotel common areas- capris, skirts and sandels for outside. the weather was about 75-80 degrees, sunny and bright. I took a sweater for in the hotel- down in the resturants and main area sicne the AC was on. I tok jeans for the flight down and the flight back.

I am going again this December- I will be taking pretty much the same thing.

We were there in December 2006 also, and I agree it was very nice. I remember having the sliding glass doors to the patio open during the day.
Just remember to pack warm clothes for coming home if you live in a cold climate.
Gosh, have a great time!!!!!

I agree with the recommendations and wanted to tell you to ENJOY your trip! It was the best trip of my life too...and I have been to some pretty great places. That trip, however, will be ingrained in my mind forever!
