Is 30 days the norm? I see people fly through and some waiting weeks, months! I was thinking we would have a chance to bring our daughter home before Christmas, but we just entered RENAP last week. Any thoughts??? Michelle

There really is no rhyme or reason, although it does depend on where your BC is coming from. Some places take way longer than others.

My BC is coming from Mazatenango, i haven't takled to anyone who waited for one from here so I am not sure! Michelle

We waited 6 weeks. Not bad considering many people were waiting up to 3 months for BC's from Coban. Hope yours is speedy. Count your blessings if you get it in 30 days!

i would say the norm is about 30 days - technically they have 30 days to review the file in RENAP GC. But your case could have sat for some time at your municipality office. If you get KO'd, be prepared to sit another 15-30 days after resubmit. Then again, each municipality is different in their time frames of actually issuing bc's - some are hours, some are at least one business week. Good luck, but keep your faith the end is near!
