What Is Your Favorite Souviener From Guatemala
Ok can folks I NEED your help!! I'm leaving for my mission trip on Wednesday!! Well I want to buy a lot of things while I'm in Guatemala to come back and sell to raise money for next year's orphanage project!! I want it to be a BIG one so I need soem input!!
What is the favorite item you bought in Guatemala? OR what is something you seen and didn't buy but would love to have!! You all have NEVER failed me so I know I'll get some great answers!!

Slippers Dresses for our little one Christmas decorations change purses bibs. My husband got some of the big stuff like masks and chess set, but those were my favorites. I really really love the slippers the best for some reason. That and the christmas decorations

1. Those cute little slippers. I should have gotten a few pair for Katelyn.
2. Christmas decorations. Specifically Christmas stockings. 3. Love the little animal backpacks for toddlers and small kids. I'll have to keep thinking...

I wanted the wood nativity scene so bad..we saw the one I wanted on our visit trip and planned to buy it when we went back for p/u and of course you couldn't find one then...it was wood and hand painted. We had bought one for my parents and every time we visit them I am so mad we didn't get one.
also, table runner, christmas ornaments and the painted butterflies that hang on our DD wall. Have a safe trip.

I agree with Nativities, I try to buy a different Guatemalan one every year, but I think I'm running out of choices.
Traditional clothing for older children. Functional pottery (food safe) Jade Any beautiful books we can't buy here.

Fabric! I wish I would have bought more brightly colored large pieces! I am not "crafty" but I know lots of people who could do excellent things with fabric.
