Painted Letters, JADE jewelry I bought rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklace pendants from the markets!!!!
Mary and Joseph clay statue, girls dresses, tote bag, paintings. I have been 10 times so I have tons of things! I wish I would have bought some nice books!

You gals totally rock!!! I'm getting so excited and I'm adding all of your suggestions to my list of things to buy and carry home!! There is so much need in Guatemala and with adoptions being closed I'm doing my best to help those children left behind with no family fighting to bring them home!
I have to say this is truly my most emotional return trip and I have been back several times. I'm haunted by knowing these children may not get forever families unless adoptions can reopen!! Not to mention since there are no adoptions a lot of folks aren't traveling down and bringing things to these orphanages!! I know God lead me to this place for a reason just like He lead me to you all on this group!! I'm so thankful to all of you for everything!!

I agree with dresses for girls!!! I only got 2 and am kicking myself because they are nearly impossible to find. If you get some please let us know! Also I am trying to find a soccer uniform. I am guessing those would sell pretty well also.

Boys Clothing... Guatemalan Soccer Uniforms and Traditional Shirts. I need them in bigger sizes for my little man. My favorite item from Guatemala has to be the Nativity set I purchased while there... Love It !

I got my nephew this really cool wooden top that spins with a green shoe string. It was only $10 and I wish that I had bought Elijah one.
I also love his jacket we bought him, he wore it for almost 2 years. I didn't realize that they had adoption rings down there and I would loved to have bought one. I also wish that I bought more outfits for Elijah. We only bought one and we used it for his 1st bday pictures. I just didn't think while I was down there about the things that I would need later. You said you were going to sell these things to raise $$ for next year. Where are you going to sell them? Best wishes, Amy

Oh, I agree about the dresses and soccer uniforms. If you were to sell some of those when you return I am sure they would go quickly. We bought Maya 2 dresses and they seemed so big at the time but once she was home she only got to wear 1 of the dresses and only 2 times because she outgrew them. Also, I have been trying to get soccer uniforms for our boys since June and the one place I found never seems to have my boys sizes at the time I look. I have seen many people looking for the soccer shirts so those would go quickly if that is what you are looking for.

Love the nativity scene we bought. Wish we could have bought a tapestry for the wall, paintings, Christmas stockings, and fabric. Soccer jerseys in all sizes is also a great idea!

I love my adoption ring and wear it all the time. If you are looking for something that is for you it is a great thing. I get compliments and question almost weekly. I also love the dolls we got for Kaya

Of all the stuff we bought I LOVE our clay Nativiy set, and the jade earrings and bracelet for our DD.
The dresses we bought were white sundresses with beautiful embroidery on the chest and at the hem. They are gorgeous. We have one more left...Kate should fit in it around the time she is 5 or 6.
