Dance mat for kids..
Madeline loves to "daunce" as she calls it and would daunce all day long... I'm looking to get her a dance mat with DVD... Any suggestions?
I've looked at Swan Lake - bad reviews, Disney Princess Mat - bad reviews, Tinkerbell - bad reviews. Thanks.

curious to see what others say. My dad wanted to get my 3 yo the Disney Princess mat. We may reconsider since you say it has bad reviews...

Bella got a Dora Dance Mat with DVD for her 2nd Bday. I can't tell you how many times she has watched this and danced her little booty off.
 So cute. Truth be told I'm ready to throw up if she asks to watch it one more time ( asks at least once a day) but she sure loves it!! M is so darn cute, love her sweet face on your blog!!! Happy shopping. Amy

it's not with DVD but I've heard the Yo Gabba Gabba one is good for toddlers. We were looking to get it for Malea.

When we went to my brother in laws last night for a late Thanksgiving with his family, they gave us the Princess Mat. They have a girl that is now 7 so my girls get all of her old stuff....it's great!! It's still in the car and I'm debating whether or not to pull it out before Christmas since they have so much and will be getting more for Christmas. I'll let you know what happens.

My 2-year-old loves to dance on her mini trampoline. We put on a dance CD and she goes at it. The mini tramp has a "safety bar" to hold onto and is great for letting off steam when it's too cold / wet / dark to do much outside. It may sound boring, but my little gymnast practices a lot of moves on there and comes up with a few of her own every day. It cost about $100 (plus the loss of a few layers of skin during assembly). Just a different idea to think about.

My daughter got Bella Dancerella Princess Dance along studios for her 3rd birthday and loves it. It has the disney princesses on it and some of their songs. More ballet type dances are featured. Would definitely recommend it. She has been using this consistently for almost a year.
