I am ashamed I don't know the answer to this...but do they celebrate a day like our Thanksgiving there?

No. It is a US holiday.

Though, at weddings they do often serve a traditional thanksgiving dinner... No stuffing, but just about everything else was the same...

I guess I didn't word my post right...I know it is only a US holiday but I was wondering if they have their own form of this kind of celebration (even at another time of year!).

Yes, they do have a "Dia de Gracias"....but it isn't on a Thursday. I'll have to ask my sitter when it is. I think it might be coming up soon.
