Anyone seen Bolt?

I have never taken my 3 yo daughter (just 3 in September) to the movies. I was thinking Bolt might be her first movie but I wanted to get some feedback from others who have seen it. Will it keep her attention? Too long, too violent, too over her head, etc? Thanks!

We saw it with our 5yr and 2yr old. I'm sure it was over my 2 yr. old's head, but it seemed to hold her attention. She cracked up at some of the scenes. She's always done well at movies though....much better than our son did at her age. It is a very cute movie!

Hope you all enjoy it!

It was cute. A bit long for really little ones (I think my husband and I each dozed at different parts). There are some suspenseful semi-violent moments at the beginning (think James bond chase scene...as a cartoon), and towards the end a scary, suspenseful situation. A kid who is really sensitive may be scared or get sad.

Balanced by a lot of humor...a lot of it that adults would find funny rather than kids--nothing inappropriate, just jokes that kids probably wouldn't get (the Hollywood agent character, etc.).

It felt a lot like Toy Story as far as the story arc was concerned-- just substitute animals for toys and make it bit more intense.

The adult men next to me were choking on their popcorn they were laughing so hard at the agent and the fat hamster, Rhino.
