Hi everyone!
Jacob has been asking for the Nintendo DS since last year and I just didn't want to spend the $$ and I thought he was too young last year.
So today I went to our local Gamestop store just to look around and got a USED DS for only $100 !!! It looks brand new and they have a warranty on it until Jan. 15th. The guy said that people just bring theirs in to trade up for another system.
I was soooo excited!!
So - a little tip - see if you can buy used before you spend the big bucks on electronics!
They have DS used games too. I plan to go back there for Jacob's birthday in Feb!!

We buy most of our games/accessories at GameStop. We ONLY by new if someone REALLY wants a fairly new game. My DH loves to play the football games, but he always gets the one that is a year old because we can get them used. We've never had a problem with used games not working.

I'm sure Jacob is going to be very excited!!

We have one that we actually got at Nebraska Furniture Mart with a gift card we received when we bought our Notebook computer. I just wanted to make sure you knew they were only 127.00 new. Not that it really matters, we buy used stuff all of the time, but just thought I'd let you know.

Yeah, but that extra $30-ish I saved bought Jacob the Madagascar 2 game to play on his DS! I am always a sucker for bargains - no matter what I saved!
