Friends Through Guatemalan Adoption is excited to announce the 4th Annual FTGA Holiday Giving Back Project in conjunction with Behrhorst Partners for Development (BPD) - Behrhorst Partners for Development - Mission Statement. The focus of the projects offered this year is to strengthen the supports of rural Guatemalan families who work with BPD in their Strong Family Centers. Each of the four levels of giving offers a direct way to provide changes to the existing resources for families both in their homes as well as the Community Strong Family Center which serves the entire village.

Whether you choose to sponsor the purchase of a family latrine or stove, or you sponsor one of the two projects that strengthen educational opportunities for the children of each village through the Strong Family Center, you are impacting rural Guatemalan children and their families!

We are excited to share the project and encourage you to participate and to pass along the opportunity to anyone else who might be interested. Feel free to also forward the information to other listservs, local adoptive groups, and friends and family that might share our passion for the people of Guatemala.

Last year adoptive families from 22 states participated and increased the total raised by this project to over $40,000 to date! Let's see if we can beat that this year!

You will again this year receive a card representing a family who could benefit from your donation for each project you sponsor. You can indicate if the card is to give as a gift as well as which holiday you would like the card to represent.

Also, we have done this for the last couple of years. Our family members really appreciate it and it's a wonderful cause. And, the cards they send to give to the recipient are really nice!
